• A short registration form is required for enrollment.
• $15.00 Registration (yearly) fee due at enrollment.
• All monthly fees are due and payable between the 1st and 15th of the month.
• A $5.00 late fee will be charged on all tuition payments not received by the 15th of the month.
• Please pay by check/cash/credit card made out to YBT. NSF fees are $35.00.
• Students with accounts remaining past due for 4 weeks will be subject to dismissal. Mail or submit a written withdrawal to YBT Director. (address below)
• All fees are non-refundable. Class attendance in any week is acknowledged as student enrollment. All fees are payable until written withdrawal.
• No fees carry over to next month/session regardless of attendance.
• Military discounts-10%. Family discounts: 5% for two students, 10% for three or more students from same family. 20% 1 payment plan. 10% 2 payment plan.
• All students are required to carry their own injury insurance.

Private Classes depend upon teacher availability and fees.

CREATIVE PRE-DANCE PROGRAM Ages 3 - 6 years old - Classes are thematically designed using imagery and props which engage young children through developmental movement that focuses on rhythm, memory, social skills, group formations, locomotor movement, plus age appropriate beginning ballet and stretching.

PRE BALLET I/II Ages 6-9 years old - Beginner Ballet Classes. Concentrate on the development of body alignment placement, vocabulary and movement technique.

BALLET LEVEL I/II/III/IV Ages 9 & Up - Classes are for the more serious, disciplined, dedicated dance student.

COMBO CLASS (Tap/Jazz/Ballet) Ages 5-9 - Classes for young students that would like a variety of dance styles.

JAZZ LEVEL I Ages 10 & Up - Beginner Jazz Class.

JAZZ LEVEL II Ages 13 & Up - More advanced Jazz Class.

HIP HOP LEVEL I Ages 9 - 12 years old - Beginner Hip Hop Class.

HIP HOP LEVEL II Ages 13 & Up - More Advanced Hip Hop Class.

WHY DANCE? Talented young people throughout the desert southwest have danced with Yuma Ballet Theatre and have gone on to achieve their own success as teachers, choreographers, and performers. Studies show that dance and music improve special brain pathways for thought process and learning. The arts have a direct, positive correlation to school studies. Boys and girls who participate in sports find dance training to be an excellent all-around conditioner. Dance movements develop skills that are inherent in most sports as well as all aspects of an active life. Our instructors use dance to help your children build their bodies bi-laterally, expand their focus, concentration and discipline, develop their coordination preparing them for diverse physical activities.

PRIVATE LESSONS - Privates are for the more serious dancers as well as any child who would like to improve at a faster pace or to perform solos within the community or elsewhere. Privates can accelerate and greatly enhance your child's training. Solo and Group routines or Choreography are available. Please schedule your class through the instructor.

WITHDRAWALS - Please submit a signed withdrawal to the office prior to month of withdrawal to relieve you of financially liability.

Dress codes will be enforced. All dance attire can be purchased at the YBT front desk.

• Creative Pre Ballet Classes - Ages 3-5 years old - Black Tank Leotard, Pink Footed Ballet Tights, Pink Ballet Shoes, Hair in a Bun
• Pre Ballet Level I/II - Ages 5-9 years old - Lavender Tank Leotard, Pink Footed Ballet Tights, Pink Ballet Shoes, Hair in a Bun
• Ballet Level I/II - Ages 9-13 yrs old - Forest Green Camisole Leotard, Convertible Pink Tights, Pink Ballet Shoes, Hair in a Bun
• Ballet Level III - Ages 13 & up - Black Camisole Leotard, Convertible Pink Tights, Pink Ballet Shoes, Hair in a Bun
• Ballet Level IV - Ages 13 & up - Appropriate Dance Attire
• Boys - White T-shirt, Black Tights, Black Ballet Shoes or whatever is allowed by the instructor
• Jazz - Jazz top, Jazz pants, Jazz shoes or whatever is allowed by the instructor
• Hip Hop - Athletic Clothing, Tennis Shoes or whatever is allowed by instructor

1. Auditions for CHILDREN ROLES in Yuma Ballet Theatre & the performing arts company "THE NUTCRACKER" performance will be held in September. A Participation fee of $25.00, per person with a signed agreement of mandatory rehearsal attendance is required.
2. RECITAL-YBT School of Dance will take place at the end of the year. A Facility fee of $20 per person with a signed agreement of mandatory rehearsal attendance is required. A Costume fee per person/dance piece is also required.

We reserve the right to cancel or move all classes not meeting minimum

enrollment requirements.
