To begin with, I want to thank all of the parents and other family members for supporting Yuma Ballet Theatre and our dancers. Your volunteer help is
greatly appreciated.

In support of Yuma Ballet Theatre's mission statement, the Parents' Guilde will be actively participating in many dance performances and undraising events throughout this coming year. It is our commitment for the family of each dancer to volunteer 30 total hours to these activities during this 2005-2006 season for Yuma Ballet Theatre.

There are many opportunities to reach this goal of volunteer hours. Some of the many services that the Guilde provides are in ticket sales, flower sales, refreshments, boutique sales, sets and props, backstage help, quick change, runners, security, lobby decorations, costumes, property management, etc.

The Guilde Board will be calling meetings approximately once a month to organize our participation in the season's events. The various committees may have to meet more often to fulfill their obligations of the job they are assigned. Attendance is required at the monthly board meetings. These meetings are necessary for handing out information, getting updates on committee work and also for building up the working relationships with one another to add to the "family" atmosphere of YBT.

Yuma Ballet Theatre is a professional non-profit organization and our mission is: "to encourage and promote the excellence of dance in Yuma and Arizona by nurturing the highest artistic and moral values in our dancers". This mission will be what unifies us and is the theme for whatever we involve ourselves in as representatives of Yuma Ballet Theatre. I would like to welcome all of you to the "family" of Yuma Ballet Theatre. Thank you for being an active member of YBT!!!!
